The 2010 Summer Mini-Eliminator is gaining momentum quickly as over 300 entries were recorded on Thursday. Day 2 began with an Early Bird Squad which drew for the second straight day over 100 entries. A total of 16 bowlers advanced to the Early Bird Finals with cut scores for the two game qualifying ranging from 410 to 443.

Thursday featured 4 qualifying squads and the “Sunset Strip” pattern has been holding up well and keeping scores in a reasonable range. Cut scores have been hanging around 670 with the handicap cuts as low as 610. High series honors of the day went to; in the 49 & under division Joe Steiner, N. Conway, NH bowled a 746, Les Shirwindt, a former Mini-Eliminator Champion, was top senior with a 693, and the high series in the handicap division was rolled by Brian Main, San Gabriel, CA with a 719.
